It’s now officially fall—or autumn, if you prefer. The air is crisp, the apples are ripe, the pumpkins are robust, and the leaves are a dazzling palette of crimson and gold. But for some of you, well . . . you’re not terribly sure what to do when the beach becomes barren and the temperature drops below reasonable ‘flip-flop’ weather. It seems like as soon as the first leaf falls, everyone recedes back into their homes to marinate in their end-of-summer despair, not realizing how fun autumn can be.
I’ve been running a fall-themed blog on Tumblr for eight years now, and one of the questions most commonly asked by my visitors is, “So, like, what am I supposed to do once it’s too cold for the beach?” I usually offer up a bunch of suggestions, but the other day I happened across these adorable autumn and Halloween bucket lists on Chelsea’s Messy Apron and had to share!
